Known Issues
We're working feverishly on these issues. If you're having one of these problems, please be patient with us as we work on squashing these bugs.
- Vista Issues: Vista issues have been resolved. That's the good news. The bad news is that trying to update the installation in the background
creates headaches becase Desktoptopia needs elevated privileges to update the desktop, so we don't attempt to run the installer from inside the program
anymore. We just invoke your browser to go download the fresh installer when an update is available - you have to run the installer manually yourself.
- Software Conflicts: A few conflicts are showing up with other programs. LogMeIn,
a remote access program, causes exceptions when it tries to change desktops and you have your desktop shared with another user.
DeskSpace seems to work okay some of the time, but can cause a memory
exception depending on the size of your virtual displays and the complexity of the image being processed for the background.
